What are Giclee prints

Giclee prints, pronounced "zhee-clay," are high-quality reproductions of original artworks or photographs using inkjet printing technology. This printing process involves spraying microscopic droplets of archival-quality inks onto various substrates such as fine art paper, canvas, or metal. Giclee prints are known for their exceptional color accuracy, detail, and longevity, often rivaling the quality of traditional printing methods. They are popular among artists and photographers who seek to replicate their work with precision and maintain the integrity of the original piece. Additionally, giclee prints are typically produced in limited editions, adding to their collectibility and value in the art market.

Framing is a very personal choice and is often based on the decor of the room where the picture will sit or be hung.  Giclee prints do not come framed.  Original art will be professionally framed and various colour options are available.  If you need assistance with framing, please contact me.
